Let's go barefoot baby!

Recently I had the pleasure of visiting The Trentham Estate in Stoke-On-Trent, UK. There is literally something for everyone there, from monkeys to shops, adventure playgrounds to mazes, it's certainly not somewhere where you can get bored.

I have to say though my favourite part of the day was the Barfuss Park - Britain's first Barefoot Walk.

This 1km barefoot walk has lots of different textures to invigorate and 'massage' your feet. They have mud, gravel, rubber, wood chip, water (although we didn't get to experience the water as the lake had dried up :s), hay, pebbles and lots more!  It's certainly a very interesting not to miss experience.

Although a little painful at times, the Barfuss Park is seriously worth it. Walking the 1km I experienced extremes of pleasure and pain, giggling and 'owwing' my way through the whole thing.

The end product: Very muddy but very smooth feet!
